MTM Ruhrzinn offers you pure secondary tin and recycled tin alloys. Recycled tin is in no way inferior to primary tin in terms of quality - so it can be used without any compromises. Tin is a relevant material for various areas of industry and commerce. We recover secondary pure tin and recycled tin alloys directly from solder waste, including tin dross, solder pastes, tin ashes and waste solder. Our process focuses on recycling these materials or reprocessing them specifically for reuse as soldering material.

Destination circular economy

Thanks to our expertise in recognising the quality and grade of production waste, we can direct it to the ideal processing plant. In this way, we comply with the five-stage waste hierarchy of the Closed Substance Cycle Waste Management Act and effectively differentiate between reuse and recycling. This strategic approach allows us to effectively feed secondary pure tin back into the production cycle. Compared to traditional tin extraction from mines, our service reduces energy consumption and CO2-emissions by 99 per cent. By focussing on environmentally friendly recyclates, we also strengthen sustainable supply chains. We start where secondary raw materials management begins: with the carefully selected material flows from production waste.

Quality Manager (m/f/d)

As a quality management specialist, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic, international and owner-managed company specialising in sustainable and legally compliant recycling services for tin and waste containing precious metals in the electronics industry. As a waste management officer in accordance with EfBV, you will assume responsibility and ensure that hazardous and non-hazardous waste is handled in compliance with the law.

Your tasks:
  • Ensuring compliance with and continuous improvement of quality standards in accordance with ISO 9001 and other relevant standards
  • Management of the operating diary
  • Preparation, optimisation, review and control of external audits and training in the area of quality management
  • Responsibility for handling hazardous and non-hazardous waste by complying with legal requirements (in particular AVV, AbfG and KrWG)
  • Checking and applying for notifications and proof of disposal for all waste transports
  • Coordination of applications and authorisations by official authorities
  • Monitoring and coordination of occupational health and safety measures as an interface between different functional areas
  • Control of quality assurance measures in connection with the associated documentation
  • Risk assessment by identifying potential hazards and safety risks
  • Collaboration with external environmental lawyers
You bring the following with you:
  • You have completed vocational training or a degree with a focus on quality management or a comparable qualification
  • Professional experience in quality management is an advantage but not a must
  • You have a sound knowledge of the applicable waste management guidelines
  • Ideally, you already have experience with material flow management and conducting audits
  • You have strong analytical skills and possess problem-solving expertise
  • You work in a proactive, structured, organised and conscientious manner
  • You are characterised by assertiveness and stress resistance

  • You will contribute to the growth of our company through successful lead management and innovative strategies

  • You identify and evaluate customer requirements

  • You prepare quotations and work closely with our logistics and material flow management teams
